d. Location Data (Foreground & Background)

The App collects precise GPS location for the following purposes:

Foreground Location Collection

When the app is open, we collect location to:

  • Verify employee attendance
     

  • Confirm presence at assigned job sites
     

  • Update real-time employee location to management
     

  • Ensure accurate work logs and timestamps
     

Background Location Collection

In some situations, the App may collect your location even when the App is closed or running in the background, only when:

  • An employee is on duty / during work hours
     

  • Attendance monitoring is active
     

  • Real-time tracking is required for safety or jobsite validation
     

Why We Collect Location

  • To prevent fake attendance
     

  • To verify that employees are physically present at the job location
     

  • To protect workers and enable emergency response if required
     

  • To maintain accurate timesheets and work records
     

Your Control Over Location

You may:

  • Allow or deny location permissions
     

  • Disable background location from device settings
     

  • Stop tracking anytime by logging out
     

  • Request deletion of stored location data
     

If location access is disabled, attendance and jobsite verification features will not work.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only for:

Your data is used strictly for work and HR-related purposes, including:

  • To register and manage employee accounts

  • To process attendance and leave applications

  • To provide role-based access (Admin, Manager, Employee, Foreman)

  • Location verification during work hours

  • To send notifications and updates regarding attendance or leave status

  • To enhance app performance and user experience

  • To maintain data security and compliance

 

 

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with any third-party companies for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data may only be shared internally with your employer or authorized system administrators for HR, attendance, and payroll-related operations.

 

4. Data Storage and Security

All collected data is securely stored on our protected servers.
We implement industry-standard encryption and authentication methods to ensure that your information remains safe and is not accessed by unauthorized parties.

If the app uses a third-party service (such as Firebase or another backend), those services follow their own strict data security protocols.


 

 

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary for:

  • Attendance and HR operations
     

  • Legal or business requirements
     

Location and attendance logs are deleted once they are no longer needed.

You may request full data deletion anytime.

 

6. Data Deletion Rights

You can delete your account directly from inside the App.
You may also request deletion by emailing:
